Uniquely talented faculty provides essential inspiration and support.

Dr. Margaret Heffernan is the author of six acclaimed books, including Willful Blindness and Uncharted, her work has garnered awards and nominations from the Financial Times, Bloomberg, and TED, where her talks have amassed over 15 million views. A Professor of Practice at the University of Bath and a mentor to global CEOs, she chairs the board of DACS, advises on major inquiries, and was inducted into the Thinkers50 Hall of Fame in 2023. A frequent BBC Radio 4 broadcaster and Financial Times writer, her new book, Embracing Uncertainty, released in March 2025.

Dr Tom Chatfield is an author and tech philosopher. He’s interested in improving our experiences and understanding of technology, with a particular focus on critical thinking, AI and ethics. Tom’s most recent book is Wise Animals, an exploration of the co-evolution of humanity and technology. An experienced Chair, Non-Executive Director, advisor and speaker, his recent work includes designing and presenting the Economist‘s Critical Thinking and Understanding AI programme.

Professor Anand Menon is Professor of European Politics and Foreign Affairs at King's College London in the United Kingdom and was appointed in January 2014 as director of the UK in a Changing Europe initiative. He was a special adviser to the House of Lords EU committee. Previously he was Lecturer in European Politics at Oxford University for ten years and a Fellow of St Antony's College, Oxford for five years.
